What is RSS?
Keeping up to date with the information you want can be difficult. Wouldn't it be better if the latest news and features were delivered directly to you?
RSS is a way of automatically delivering changing web content to people that have subscribed to a website's feed. It means that people don't have to physically visit your site in order to keep up to date with your news and information.
How do I start using news feeds?
1) Get a news reader
The first thing you need is a news reader - a piece of software that will manage your Donmar Warehouse news feeds (plus feeds from other sites), and lets you know when any new stories are available.
There are a range of different news readers available, some of which are accessed using a browser (these tend to be free), and some of which are downloadable applications (there can be a cost for these). Some examples are listed below:
Windows: Newz Crawler, FeedDemon, Awasu.
Mac OS X: Newsfire, NetNewsWire.
Web: Bloglines, My Yahoo!, NewsGator.
Browser: Mozilla Firefox.
Other: Google, Outlook, Thunderbird.
2) Subscribe to the news feed
When you've selected the news reader you want to use, the next step is to subscribe to the Donmar Warehouse feed.
3) That's is!
When there is news that you shouldn't miss, it will appear in your news feed. Remember to check your news feed regularly!
