Through a number of projects, schemes and resources the Donmar Warehouse aims to engage directly with young people, students and teachers and offer a stimulating and valuable insight into the work taking place on stage at the Donmar and theatre as a whole.
Our flagship programme for schools, the Schools Matinee offers students an unparalleled theatre experience, including £5 tickets, an introductory workshop, and a post-show discussion with the cast, as well as two free Teacher's Preview tickets for every school party. Click here for more information.
The next Schools Matinee is for THE RECRUITING OFFICER on Thursday 15 March 2012.
We run Special Projects for schools alongside many Donmar productions. These focus on aspects of theatre making from wirting and directing to devising and set and costume design. Our projects offer participants a unique opportunity to work with professional theatre makers at the top of their game, and to develop skills in everything from technical drawing to reciting Shakespeare.

For every Donmar production, we produce an in-depth study guide. These guides provide resources designed to complement and enhance your enjoyment of the production, including contextual information, rehearsal diaries, interviews with cast and creative teams, and specially designed exercises to use in the classroom.
The latest study guide is for our production of RICHARD II.
