Theatre Entrance
There is a 15cm step from Earlham Street into the foyer. A member of staff will be able to place a portable ramp over the step. Alternatively, there is level access through Thomas Neal's shopping centre to the Box Office during the day until 6.30pm.
Foyer and Box Office
When you enter the foyer through the doors on Earlham Street, you can collect your tickets from the Box Office, which is straight ahead of you. If you are entering through Neal’s shopping centre, the Box Office will be to your left. The Box Office counter is approximately 1.2m high.
There is a lift up to all levels of the auditorium. The lift is to the right of the Box Office and is shared with the shopping centre and you may need to ask a member of staff to turn the lift around for you.
The staircase leads up to both stall and circle levels and have handrails on both sides and the steps are well highlighted. There are 26 steps from the foyer to the stalls and another 23 steps from the stalls to the circle.
The Bar
There are bars on both levels, which open half an hour before performance time. The circle bar has a section of the bar at a lower level.
Toilets
On the stalls level there are ladies / gents toilets (3 steps) and on the circle level there is an accessible toilet for the priority use of disabled customers.
The Auditorium
The auditorium seats 251 people. The seating is bench-seating and surrounds three-sides of a wide rectangular stage.
The stalls entrance on the first floor brings you into auditorium at the back - where a sloping dimly lit passageway runs along behind the seating. Staff are on hand to show you to your seat. Rows A and B have one step down leading to the seats and Row D has one step up. There are no steps on Row C.
The circle entrance leads you straight into the back of the auditorium. This level is not ideally suited to wheelchair customers as there are steps to all seats. Row C has steep stairs and is not suitable for elderly or pregnant customers.
