In mid-April, we were deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of our dear friend and actor, Alex Beckett.
Alex was a much-loved member of The Way of the World cast, playing Waitwell, and began his career in Hotel in Amsterdam at the Donmar. He was a friend, an inspiration and a shining talent.
Together, we and the company dedicate this joyful production to the memory of this brilliant, funny and gifted man.
Alex was born in Carmarthenshire, South Wales in 1982. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art from 2000 – 2003.

Alex’s television credits included Stath, The End of the F**King World, W1A, I Live with Models, Love, Nina, The Aliens, Cockroaches, Cuffs, Top Coppers, Twenty Twelve, The Job Lot, The Scandalous Lady W, Burton & Taylor, A Touch of Cloth, A Child’s Christmases in Wales, Married Single Other, The Persuasionists, The Bill and Emmerdale, and film credits included Mary Queen of Scots, Youth, Ministry of Guilt and Survivor.
