No man’s land, which never moves, which never changes, which never grows older, which remains forever icy and silent.
Hirst, an acclaimed writer, brings a down-at-heel poet, Spooner, back to his Hampstead home for a nightcap.
As the night draws in, the alcohol flows and they contest memories false and true. Fact and fantasy blur until the arrival of two younger men transforms the evening entirely.
Directed by Patrick Marber, Harold Pinter's funny and haunting masterpiece stars Simon Russell Beale, Rupert Everett, Olivier Huband and Jay Simpson.
