Peiyao Wang
Assistant Set Designer
Peiyao is a set and costume designer for theatre and screen. She trained in Design for Performance at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2023, Peiyao was selected to be one of the 12 recipients of the Linbury Prize for Stage Design.
Theatre credits include: Four Play; Echo (King's Head Theatre); Foreverland (Southwark Playhouse); Much Ado About Nothing (Guildhall School of Music and Drama); Purgatory In Ingolstadt; Richard III (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama) and Intangible (Dante or Die).
Opera credits include: Iphigénie in Tauris (Blackheath Halls Opera); L’Infedeltà Delusa (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland); Toutes Les Femmes: Roman Fever & The Human Voice (Pegasus Opera Company/Royal Academy of Music); Don Giovanni (Hurn Court Opera) and Autumn Opera Scenes 2024 (Guildhall School of Music and Drama).
As Associate and Assistant Designer: Reverberation (Bristol Old Vic); New Beginning (Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch/Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg) and The UK Drill Project (Barbican).
As Designer for film and screen: PIKE; Detergent and Godard the Director.
