DONMAR ON DESIGN
Our Donmar on Design festival returned in 2018, celebrating the art of theatre design and its designers. The main theme of the week was collaboration – bridging the relationships between design and other essential components of theatre making. How is design received and understood, what does it say about who we are, and who are we designing for?
The 2018 edition was again curated by Donmar Associate Tom Scutt, and featured an Open Studio of designers in residence; workshops for schools and young designers; a new series of podcasts with world-class designers; and a programme of in-depth discussions.
