New York, 1967. Charity Hope Valentine is a dance hall hostess who "runs her heart like a hotel - you've got men checking in and out all the time." At the raw end of a long line of users and losers, she meets Oscar, a mild-mannered tax accountant, and Charity Hope Valentine once again puts her faith into love.
Josie Rourke returns to the work of Cy Coleman, who wrote the music for City of Angels, with the Broadway classic Sweet Charity. With choreography from the world-renowned Wayne McGregor, Rourke reunites with Anne-Marie Duff as Charity, and Arthur Darvill makes his Donmar debut as Oscar, for her farewell production as Donmar Artistic Director.
During Sweet Charity, Daddy Brubeck will be played by multiple guest actors. For this weeks performances, on Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, the role of Daddy Brubeck will be played by Shaq Taylor. For performances on Thursday and Friday, Beverley Knight will play the role of Daddy Brubeck.

We release standing tickets at 10am each morning for that day's performances, and release any returns online as soon as they become available. Click the Book Tickets tab or call the box office on 020 3282 3808 to check availability.
SWEET FRIDAYS for 16 to 25 year olds:
Thanks to the support of Susie Sainsbury and the Backstage Trust, all tickets on Fridays from 26 April will be free for those aged 16 to 25 via YOUNG+FREE. We will also be running a returns queue every Friday evening from 6.30pm. There is no need to sign up in advance, just turn up on the night and tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The returns queue is open to anyone aged 16 to 25.
