CATALYST Alumni Speak at London Screen Academy

Last month, our CATALYST talent development programme visited the London Screen Academy (LSA), a free sixth form school in Islington that prepares students for creative careers in Film and TV. As a part of our ongoing conversations on how theatre can offer pathways for students to apply their skills beyond the screen, our team hosted a Masterclass panel entitled "Intro to Theatre Design Careers" that featured Sarah Victoria (Sound Designer), Susie Yi Su (Lighting Designer) and Gülfem Özdoğan (Set & Costume (Designer) who are all former CATALYST programme trainees. These emerging designers continue to grow their careers across disciplines and shared invaluable insights into how they got started, the importance of resilience and community, and the rewards the theatre sector brings.
