Happy birthday Charles!

Charles Holloway OBE is the Donmar’s Season Supporter and an extraordinary champion of British theatre. Charles’ generosity has underpinned our work and been integral to supporting our shows since 2022. 

In 2024, Charles was awarded an OBE in the King’s Birthday Honours List in recognition of his significant arts philanthropy across the UK's creative sector.

A cherished friend of the Donmar, his unwavering commitment to our artists, creatives, and productions makes a transformative impact to our work. The rehearsal room at our home on Dryden Street was named the Holloway Rehearsal Room in recognition of his outstanding support. 

On behalf of the entire Donmar community, we wish Charles a very happy 70th birthday.
